Community Thanksgiving Dinner
This idea emerged from collaboration at the Community Services Roundtable. The Cable Area Chamber of Commerce is partnering with CASC to create a community potluck at the Cable Community Center on Thanksgiving Day. This event will feature television broadcast of the football game at 11:30 am. Service to be provided by Norvado.
Doors open at 11 am, and the event is expected to end by 4 pm.
Currently the menu consists of:
- roast turkey, stuffing, potatoes, pumpkin pie with whipped cream (courtesy of Heather Ludzack)
- cranberries (courtesy of Sue Rosa)
- wild rice salad (courtesy of Sara Balbin)
Table centerpieces will be provided by Mimi Crandall (there will be a workshop on making centerpieces at the November Repair Cafe).
This is a potluck, so addition of your favorites is welcome! Plan on 40 guests.
Volunteers to set up, serve, and clean up are needed.
Use the contact form for more information or to volunteer food or service, or call the Cable Area Chamber of Commerce.
